BabyJake, a musical polymath, first embraced the guitar at the age of eight, inspired by his father’s musical legacy. Initially drawn to the instrument’s theatrics, he immersed himself in the classics, influenced by the likes of AC/DC. However, his musical journey took an unexpected turn when college and its social scene overshadowed his passion. Struggling with depression, he found solace in self-recording and releasing “Bright Blue Eyes”, marking the inception of his artistic identity.

The turning point came when he dropped out of college, redirecting his focus to music. “Cigarettes on Patios” marked his debut as BabyJake in 2019, rapidly gaining acclaim with nearly 100 million streams. This release set the stage for his multifaceted career, spanning solo projects, the establishment of the indie label daycare, and collaborations with artists like Dillon Francis and Louis The Child.

In 2020, faced with touring disruptions, BabyJake delved into the studio, birthing his debut EP, “Don’t give me problems, give me wine”. A seven-song odyssey, the EP navigates alt-pop, moody folk, and psychedelic interludes, showcasing BabyJake’s genre-defying prowess.

Embarking on his next chapter, BabyJake unveils “Do I Fit In Your Shoes?” – a sonic voyage fusing cellphone ringtones, handclaps, and a gospel choir. The track reflects his evolution as a songwriter and producer, capturing the essence of his alternative artistry. The accompanying visuals, co-conceptualized by BabyJake, delve into the challenges he faced as an artist, bringing forth a satirical narrative and an electrifying performance.

As BabyJake navigates through the complexities of his burgeoning career, “Do I Fit In Your Shoes?” stands as a testament to his growth, resilience, and musical innovation.
