Amidst the cozy confines of Omaha’s Reverb Lounge on April 13th, a mesmerizing wave of synth-pop swept over the eager crowd, delighting all in attendance. Located in the bustling heart of Omaha’s Benson neighborhood, this mid-century-inspired lounge is celebrated for its meticulously crafted cocktails and exotic tiki offerings. Boasting state-of-the-art lighting and sound systems within an intimate performance space, Reverb Lounge provided the perfect backdrop for an immersive experience.

The evening kicked off with DJ JPEG setting the mood, transforming the venue into a miniature rave with a seamless blend of pulsating beats, igniting the crowd’s excitement for the upcoming performances. Established in 2018, the band has undergone several lineup changes, with Lane’s brother Wil rejoining as the original bassist shortly after the conclusion of the Masochist tour. Led by vocalist Leah Lane and percussionist Dean Adams, their performance showcased a blend of synth-pop and dark dance floor rhythms of the 1980s, infused with a contemporary edge. Hits like “In the Wake of Fire” and “Doorway Ghost” showcased Lane’s Siouxsie-esque vocals, drawing listeners into their mesmerizing world.

After Rosegarden Funeral Party wrapped up their captivating performance, it was finally time for the headlining act, Night Club, to take the stage. Formed in 2012, the duo comprises Mark Brooks on synth and Emily Kavanaugh on vocals.
